KBANK spam … and it doesn’t provide anyway to unsubscribe. Only “DO NOT REPLY to this message”.

And by the way, KBANK is still holding my 2,093.42 baht hostage - claiming the amount was on hold by a web shopping card purchase.

1. I cancelled that card a long time ago.
2. When asked (what is the transaction?), KBANK phone rep said she cannot look at the transaction. I’ll have to contact the openning branch.
3. However, a personnel at the openning branch also said that she cannot look at the transaction. I’ll have to contact call center.
4. If I close this saving account, the amount will still need to be put on hold — in case the merchant wants to cash in.

All that, I still don’t know the source of the transaction!!!

(Yes, I keep all the record and no record indicates the purchase amount of 2,093.42.)

K-Excellence is not that “excellent” after all.

I think it has been about 2 weeks since i last posted something here. Time flies as always.

The Kindle is mine!

Upon first start, Kindle doesn’t register to the wireless (cellular) network [the signal bar is blank]. As it turns out, Kindle might not automatically register itself outside the U.S. The trick is to go into Menu > Settings and type “311”. After a short wait, the device will show a list of cellular carriers. Pick one and wait a bit more [the signal bar turns gray] and Kindle should be registered to the network. Hit Menu again and there should be an EDGE or 3G icon.
